Robert worked at Lord corporation as it was known then for a little while, prior to joining the Erie Fire Dept. The short time that I got to know him, he was a very kind person and a good listener. I was one of the few that broke him in running the presses. Back then Lord corp was on 12th st. I can't say enough good things about him. He was also very polite. We will miss him but know that he is Home with the Lord and some they we will meet again, Rest in Peace, your friend Ariel A. Santiago.

During this uncertain time, burying my husband was an unbelievable experience! Austin provided my son and I with exceptionally compassionate care. Certainly, Austin took care of us as if we were family. What a consolation the Brugger Funeral Home was for our family.

Hello Mr. Brugger, I just want you to know that I am pleased with the excellent service Carl Brugger provided. He was kind enough to set everything aside that day we came in, in order to focus exclusively upon our needs. In fact, everyone was kind and really seemed to care about us and providing respectful treatment of my father, from Carl and his associates down to your professional and friendly receptionist, and even a gentleman whom I think was a groundskeeper of some kind, who had some sort of business with your receptionist but got up and insisted I take his chair when I came in to see her one day about something or other. On a side note, I was struck by the considerate and kind interaction Carl and others showed to Bernie Graf, who wandered in the day of my father’s showing. That level of respect and simple basic humanity meant a lot to me, and was very telling. I see he just passed last week, and I’m glad that we were all kind to him. For all these reasons, I have decided that when my times comes, I wish for Brugger’s to handle my final wishes. Thank you. Jan
